As you might already know, "Quite Stylish. True Wireless" is the official tagline for the newly launched realme Buds Q. Buds Q comes with quite stylish Cobble Design and is completly seamless when it comes to connecting them. Once connected, the touch operations make the wireless experience even better.
In this thread, let me give you a quick walkthrough on how to pair your realme Buds Q with your smartphone followed by a quick explanation about the Gaming Mode and Touch Controls you can leverage while using them.
First of all Download the realme Link App from Play Store. ( Download Link of realme Link App- Google Play Store )
Open realme Link App and select your country.
Now you will have to sign-in to realme Link App via your realme account. If you have already, use that else create a new account by clicking on Sign-up.
Now if you have done that, you will be on the home page of the App. Click on that plus (+) icon to add a device.
Now go to earphones and select realme Buds Q.
Now it will tell you what to do..!
" 1. Put earbuds into the Charging Case.
2. Press and hold more than 5s the touch area of both earbuds. ".
Do the same and click on next.
( You can also follow the 2nd method as well ~ "Find realme Buds Q in your Bluetooth list. Pair your headset with your phone" )
Your phone's Bluetooth will search and find your realme Buds Q. Click on it.
Then it will ask you to pair, click on pair, and your Buds is connected now.
After Connection done you will see this user interface and here you can customise the things.
realme Buds Q also has AAC HD Audio codec support and it is available for compatible devices and most realme devices have the option.
To turn the realme Buds Q OFF, simply put them back in the charging case and they'll turn off automatically.
To re-connect, all you need to do is take them out of the charging case and press the touch buttons for 5s and then turn ON Bluetooth in your smartphone and they'll seamlessly connect in a flash.
Pretty impressive, right?
Coming to the Super Low Latency Gaming Mode, which is one of the main features of realme Buds Q. The Gaming Mode drastically reduces the latency to 119ms. The result is perfect sync between audio and visuals while watching movies or playing games.
#1: In order to enter Gaming Mode, you have Long press on both sides and you will hear the sound of a car engine starting.
#2: And in order to exit the Gaming Mode, you just need to long-press again on both sides to exit.
#3: You can enter / exit Gaming Mode also by using the realme Link app Game Mode toggle.
That’s all for Gaming Mode in realme Buds Q.
Now, Coming to the Touch Controls, this is all that you can do without putting any extra efforts to reach out to your phone: a true wireless experience.
#1: Double-tap on the side of the bud to answer the phone or play/pause the music that's already playing.
#2: triple-tap and realme Buds Q will skip to the next song for you.
#3: Press and hold one side during the call and they'll hang up the call immediately.
#4: Double-tap to answer the incoming call.
#5: long-press on the side to reject the call.
#6: Press them for 2s in stand-by or playback mode and the voice assistant would be there for your help. This setting is needed to be turned On.
You can also customise the touch controls by using the realme Link App.
